Add some variables to your rigid heddle weaving! The Variable Dent Reed is a rigid heddle reed with interchangeable 5, 8, 10, and 12 dent sections of reed. Each section is 2-3/8″ in width, and you can mix and match these sections to create your own custom reed. The overall weaving width will be slightly narrower than a traditional reed.
The number of sections you receive are as follows:
10" Cricket Heddle: 2 sections each
15" Cricket/Flip Heddle: 4 sections (5 + 8 dent), 3 sections (10 + 12)
20" Flip Heddle: 6 sections (5), 4 sections (8, 10 + 12)
25" Flip Heddle: 8 sections (5 + 8), 5 sections (10 + 12)
30" Flip Heddle: 9 sections (5 + 8), 6 sections (10 + 12)
